Aircraft Propeller Parts How To Sand And Polish This Aluminum Propeller?

How to sand and polish this aluminum propeller? - aircraft propeller parts

He is a former indeterminite propeller aircraft. It has some nicks, scratches and grooves, but is mostly transparent. I want to understand how to grind, sand, and polished to a mirror finish to see in my house.

If it is too complicated to be in a reasonable time, I am to hear recommendations for someone interested in doing for me in San Francisco Bay.

I would suggest to you in connection with the Experimental Aircraft Association in Oshkosh is Wisconsin.I summer at the museum and have seen many times in order to restore a range of aircraft parts. I'm sure he was an easy way to clean the propeller. I added the link here. As polihing I got lucky with fine steel wool and a mixture of 1 part kerosene to 1 part in 10 weight aluminum engine oil. Try it, you could save money. Good luck

First you should have an oxidizing agent, and follow the instructions. Then get the best Polish Aluminum, a box of rags to be found, then get the job. You can also get a lathe with a grinding wheel, red, just polishing and fans. But unless you are determined to polish and the right way to do it better does it take to know a polishing shop. Is expected to cost approximately $ 100.00 to do so. I live in Orange County, CA, otherwise I would take the job. I make aluminum shine like a diamond in pigs azz azz A. Or a ruby in a goat. Whatever the brightest. Good luck
